Commuity Helpers

We will be talking about community helpers in January and would love to have some guest speakers.  We will be talking about Construction workers, Doctors and Police officers on the days we can have a speaker.  If you, your spouse or even someone you know would be willing to come talk to the class please let me know.  Thanks, krissi

Individual Goal Sheet

Later this week your child will be coming home with an individual goal sheet.  These sheets are actually for me to use in class but I am sending home a copy to  parents so you can see what it is that your child is focusing on. There will be three goals on the sheet that we are trying to get your child to master.  They also have the activities your child will be doing to help them with the goal.  It would also be helpful if you could help your child at home in these three areas.  You will also be getting a copy of their progress so far this year.  Thanks Krissi

Book Order Due Date

The book orders that were sent home at the begining of this week are due next week.  If you want to order please have your order returned to class by the 8th of December.  This way there is time to get any holiday books in time for the holidays.  Thanks, Mrs. Krissi

On a side note if  you are interested in ordering online please let me know and I will set it up so that parents can order online.

Book Orders

book orders will be going home with your child Wed and Thurs of this week.  I have put them in plastic sacks in case they are for christmas but I just wanted to give you a heads up about the books coming home.  Thanks.

Firehouse Fieldtrip

 We went to the eagle mountain firestation for a field trip in October.  The kids had a lot of fun and loved seeing the firestation and the fire equipment.  Thanks to the Eagle mountain fire dept for letting us come!

November

For November there is not much going on.  We will be talking about Dinosaurs and Thanksgiving.  We also have a break the 24th-26th.  We will also be starting our practice for the Christmas program towards the end of the month.  Thanks, krissi

Four Year Old Preschool Party

The four year old party was another hit.  We had an assortment of costumes this time with pirates winning the popularity contest.  They played games and ate some treats and seemed to have a great time!

 The three year old halloween party was a success.  We played lots of games and decorated some pumpkins.  The kids all looked so cute in thier costumes!

We played musical chairs as our last game.  It took a little while until the children got the hang of what you were supposed to do.  After they finally realized the meaning of the game is was so cute to watch them play.

Preschool Blog

I have decided to start a blog to keep parents more in touch with what is going on inside the preschool.  Eventually the blog will replace the notes going home to parents but for now you will be getting both.  It would be greatly appreciated if you could check the blog once a week for any updates.  Thanks so much, Mrs. Krissi.
