I just wanted to give all you parents a little heads up about February, we have lots of things going on this month.  The first thing we have going is a field trip for the four year old class.  The field trip will be the 9th which is a Wednesday.  We will be leaving my house at about ten minutes to ten.  If there are any parents interested in coming I could use about three of you.  The next thing is the valentines party which is the 10th for the three year class and the 14th for the four year class.  I will also need a couple parents help for that.  After the valentines party we will be talking about pet the rest of the month.  If you have a pet that you would like to bring for show and tell we would love to see what pets people have.  As I said before we will be starting this subject after valentines and it will go until the end of the month you are welcome to bring a pet any day your child has preschool.  If you are interested in bringing a pet please let me know so I can plan accordingly.  There will be a note going home next week with some of this same information but I just thought I would let you know anyone who wants to help on any of these things can plan for them.  Thanks again for all your support!

Phone numbers

We have been working with the older class on getting familiar with their personal information.  Part of the kindergarten assessment is their phone number.  We have worked a little with your children but need some help from home.  If you could work with your child to learn their phone number that would be very helpful. 

Commuity Helpers

We will be talking about community helpers in January and would love to have some guest speakers.  We will be talking about Construction workers, Doctors and Police officers on the days we can have a speaker.  If you, your spouse or even someone you know would be willing to come talk to the class please let me know.  Thanks, krissi

Individual Goal Sheet

Later this week your child will be coming home with an individual goal sheet.  These sheets are actually for me to use in class but I am sending home a copy to  parents so you can see what it is that your child is focusing on. There will be three goals on the sheet that we are trying to get your child to master.  They also have the activities your child will be doing to help them with the goal.  It would also be helpful if you could help your child at home in these three areas.  You will also be getting a copy of their progress so far this year.  Thanks Krissi

Book Order Due Date

The book orders that were sent home at the begining of this week are due next week.  If you want to order please have your order returned to class by the 8th of December.  This way there is time to get any holiday books in time for the holidays.  Thanks, Mrs. Krissi

Book Orders

Firehouse Fieldtrip

 We went to the eagle mountain firestation for a field trip in October.  The kids had a lot of fun and loved seeing the firestation and the fire equipment.  Thanks to the Eagle mountain fire dept for letting us come!
